Cherry Park and Metropolitan Family Service (MFS) partner to support our students, families, and community. We offer a variety of resources to help our neighborhood thrive, including:

• FREE After-School Program: Available for 1st–5th graders.
• Family Resource Navigator: Personalized support for your family’s needs.
• Bi-Weekly Food Pantry: Fresh groceries every other Monday.
• Resource Events: Clothing and food drives throughout the year.
• School Events: Fun and informative gatherings for the whole family.

SUN After-School Program

The SUN Program runs three sessions each school year: Fall, Winter, and Spring.

How to Register

1. Watch for Updates: We announce registration periods for 1st–5th grade families via ParentSquare.
2. Submit Registration: Please note that submitting a form does not guarantee enrollment.
3. Wait for Confirmation: After registration closes, the SUN Site Supervisor will contact you via phone, email, or text to confirm if your student is enrolled or on the waitlist.

Free Food Pantry

We provide FREE food to Cherry Park families every other Monday. Reduce your grocery bill and bring home 3–5 days’ worth of healthy staples, including meat, eggs, milk, rice, pasta, and fresh produce.

• When: Mondays from 3:45 pm – 5:15 pm (Every other week).
• Where: In the portable at the back of the school (under the covered structure on the playground).
• Who: All households with a Cherry Park student qualify. We do not check income or citizenship status.
• Parking: You can park on 106th Ave at the back of the school for easy access.
