- Free Food for Our Cherry Park Families Every Monday & Friday!
Do you want nutritious food for your family for FREE? Are you wanting to cut your grocery bills? We have several opportunities for all our Cherry Park families. We have an Urban Gleaners food delivery every Friday morning at 9:30 by the gym doors. In addition, we have opened a FREE food pantry for all school families in the portable at the back of the school every Monday From 3:45 pm to 5:15 pm, also during the summer(through August 31st) from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Recipients will receive between a 3-5 days’ supply of healthy groceries, including fruits and vegetables, meat, eggs, and pantry staples such as milk, rice, pasta and canned foods each week at this pantry. All households that have a Cherry Park student may receive food each week, regardless of income level, citizenship status, or other services that you may be accessing. You may park at the back of the school on 106th for easy access. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please call our office at 503 256 6501.

- Champions at Cherry Park
Champions is a great solution for busy working families, before and after school enrichment programs right inside Cherry Park Elementary! A variety of group and individual activities are designed to keep your child exploring and growing. From art, dramatic play, music, motor skills, and problem-solving, to science, technology, language, math, and homework assistance, we help your child continue learning and developing essential life skills – whether the school is in session or not. Champions is proud to be awarded corporation accreditation from AdvancED, a global leader in advancing excellence in education through accreditation.
• Before & after school programs beginning before school at 6:30 AM, and after school until 6:00 PM on school days for students in grades K-6
• All day sessions on non-school days
• Winter Break, Spring Break, and summer camp programs are open to all families – even those who don’t attend Champions during the week.
• Champions is State Licensed and accepts DHS subsidy
